2011 • The History of the Pomegranate • Jackson’s Lane Theatre • London

From the turmoil of Persephone to the temptations of Eve, The History of the Pomegranate combines the classical with the whimsical, the profound with the gloriously playful and exposes the universal richness of being female, fecund and fat with life. With a unique blend of humour, song, physical storytelling and haunting loop-pedal soundscapes, this solo show unearths the mystery and magic of this revered mythical fruit.
