The Dance of the Lonely Heart

Nous sommes le 1er Mars 2009 et je suis à Londres. Demain je vais trouver à Stoke Newington la maison ensoleillée dont je rêve avec Vincent. Hier soir j’étais encore à Athènes en train de célébrer la première de la pièce dont j’ai réalisé le décor.

O Xoros tis monaxikis kardias. La danse du coeur solitaire. Ou l’histoire d’un garçon de 17 ans qui quitte la Grèce au milieu des années 70 pour tenter l’aventure en Allemagne. Un long poème, une folle chanson. Au Théâtre National de Grèce à Keiramikos jusqu’au 12 avril, du mercredi au dimanche à 21h.

Ma vie est un rêve que je rends réèl à chaque seconde. Je suis si heureuse. Merci la vie!

Today is the 1st of March 2009 and I am in London. Tomorrow I will find in Stoke Newington the sunny house I am dreaming to live in with Vincent. Yesterday night I was still in Athens celebrating the press night of the play of which I designed the set.

O xoros tis monaxikis kardias. The dance of the lonely heart. Or the story of a seventeen-year-old boy leaving Greece in the middle of the 70’s to discover life in Germany. A long poem, a mad song. At the National Theatre of Greece, in Keiramikos until the 12th of April, from wednesday till sunday at 9pm.
